RE: Gold Kist Tray Expansion Project
Dear Frank:
I wanted to let you know that Greg Kirkland and Richard Baron did an outstanding
job on the Gold Kist Tray Expansion Project in Live oak, FL. This concrete work
was some of the highest quality I've had on any project. Al Coltrane of VCP
& A said the plant floors were the best he had ever seen.
It was a true pleasure to work with a subcontractor who is dependable and takes
a proactive approach to all aspects of the project. Your team did a great job
from beginning to end. I hope to work with the, and Stankunas Concrete again.
You were a consistent resource throughout the project and I greatly appreciate
your willingness to help and go the extra mile.
Sincerly,
Jack F. Bradley
Senior Superintendent
Bovis Lend Lease
Dear Mr. Stankunas:
Stankunas Concrete was a sub-contractor to W.P.C. Construction
Company for the 2004 and 2006 expansion of the City of Madison Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion
and did the concrete construction. The concrete work was done in a timely
manner and we are pleased with the concrete construction. Actually after one of the hurricanes that went through Madison, Stankunas' crews
were standing in water, tying steel for the next day's pour. No other subs were
even on the job site. We would be pleased to have Stankunas Concrete provide the
concrete work on future projects. Sincerely, Thomas P. Moffses, Sr., City Manager, City of Palm Coast
Frank,
"I believe in post-tensioned technology, and Stankunas Concrete does a
great job in delivering it."
"Post Tensioned foundations have provided me with a peace of mind
regarding questionable soils."
"It cost a lot less to have a foundation constructed correctly the first
time than repairing one if you had a problem."
"Knowing that the foundation of my own home is post-tensioned allows me to
sleep better, thanks Stankunas."
- Adam Bolton - Bolton Constructors Inc.
Mr. Frank Stankunas:I wanted to personally thank you and your employees for the hard work and
dedication to quality put forth while completing jobs during 2001.
Approximately 6000 yards were pumped at the Suwannee American Cement Plant in
Brandford, FL; 1500 yards at the Caesar's Coliseum in Las Vegas, NV; and 200
yards at the Chattahoochee Water Plant in Atlanta, GA. The jobs in Las Vegas, and Brandford, demanded working long hours each day in
extreme heat, while severe cold and snow persisted in Atlanta and in each case
the employees and the equipment at Stankunas Concrete stood up to the task
seven days a week with zero delays. In addition to maintaining production under any circumstance, Stankunas
Concrete is backed by an owner whose word is as solid as the concrete he is
pumping. Morris Shea Bridge Company and Stankunas Concrete will be teaming up
again this year in Las Vegas
for jobs at the new Wynn Resort "Le Reve" and the Venetian
"Meeting Room Complex." Thank you again Frank for your commitment to service with quality. - Jason S. Merchant, Foundation

To Whom It May Concern:Recently Meadors Construction was associated with Stankunas Concrete at a team
member on the construction of improvements to the Palm Coast Waste Water
Treatment Plant. Stankunas' participation consisted of the construction of the
hydraulic concrete structures comprising approximately 3,700 cubic yards. The project went extremely well due in no small contribution by the Stankunas'
organization to fully man the project with qualified technicians and
professional management. The project was completed within an extremely
aggressive time frame with above average quality. This letter has been written in response to the request from Stankunas
Concrete; however, the writer should have initiated it since the pleasure of
the experience has been ours.Sincerely, Edward W. White Meadors Construction Co., Inc.
Dear Frank: New Millennium Building Systems would like to thank you for all of your efforts
in the concrete construction project that you helped us complete our new
facility in Lake City, Florida. There was a tremendous amount of
coordination required, with all of the different trades involved, and also to
maintain the ability to meet our projected start-up date. This in itself was
quite a task. Again, we appreciate the job that was performed by your staff, at our facility. Sincerely, Jake Fetters, Construction Manager New Millennium Building Systems

Dear Frank:
Suwannee American Cement would
like to thank you for all of your efforts in the concrete paving project that
you helped us complete at our new facility at Brandford, Florida.
There was a tremendous amount of coordination involved with all of the
different redi-mix suppliers involved and also to maintain the ability for
incoming customers to pick up cement with minimal disruption to our operations.
This in itself was quite a task. Again, we appreciate the job that was
performed by your staff at our facility.- Brian P. Schreiber Suwannee American Cement (386) 935-5000
To Whom It May Concern: Frank and his company placed and
finished all the concrete on this project [University Hotel and Conference
Center] which was approximately 7,000 cubic yards with the exception of the
site concrete. His work was scheduled and executed in an efficient and
professional manner. Of greater interest to me however, was
his word. When Frank told me he was going to do something, it happened or he
told me why he could not do as scheduled. As you know this is the most
important aspect of our profession as general contractors to get subcontractors
to do their work within scope, budget and time. In closing, Frank possesses one of
those rare qualities that we could all use more of. It is called integrity. - AC Coleman, Project Superintendent Hardin Construction
